Job Title: Driver
Reports to: Finance and Administration Officer
Main Purpose of the Job
To provide exceptional support the administrative function of ABi Trust.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Drives office vehicles for transport of authorized personnel safely
2. Drive authorized personnel to programme activity sites
3. Collection and delivery of mails and other communications with other organizations
4. Meets official personnel at the airport and facilitates immigration formalities
5. Responsible for the day to day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, performs minor repairs, keeps it clean
6. Logs official trips, daily mileage, fuel consumption etc in logbook
7. Ensures that in the event of an accident appropriate steps and traffic regulations are followed
8. Assist the administration department by obtaining information required from external agencies suppliers
9. Packs materials for dispatch, affixes label etc for outgoing correspondence
10.Carry out any other outdoor messenger duties
11.Ability to work after the working hours and/or on holidays when required
12.Other office duties such as photocopying, handling incoming and outgoing calls, screening visitors etc,
13.Any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor/or senior manager in order to meet the level of the services in the organization
Qualifications:
•Completion of A level secondary school education
•Technical training in mechanical engineering is an added advantage
•Training in defensive driving would be an added advantage
•Should be between 25-50 years
•Minimum of 6 years work experience
•Good planning and organizing, communication, and interpersonal skills
•High level of integrity, confidentiality, sound Judgment, self-drive
