Brief summary of the position: The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for all programs running in Ashoka East Africa. The PM coordinates Ashoka programs at the regional and national level and represents the organization with local authorities, partners, international agencies, and donors.

Position Description:
- Participate in the definition of the programs, proposals, and budgets for new projects
- Define and guarantee the implementation of Ashoka strategy in East Africa
- Guarantee good coordination and functioning of the East Africa program
- Guarantee the follow up of financial and operational activities of Ashoka in East Africa
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in development, management, or social sciences and five years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in team management in the context of the humanitarian aid and development
- Experience in agriculture, rural development, and social entrepreneurship, and knowledge of these fields in Africa and India
- Management skills, entrepreneurial track record, and strategic vision with high capacity of negotiation and representation
- Required language skills: English (excellent) and Swahili (high)
