Human Resources and Administration Manager:
The position holder will be responsible in formulation, coordination and direct the implementation of pro-active strategic human Resource plans for the company aimed at developing, maintaining and controlling manpower and will report to the General Manager/ Managing Director.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning, designing, installing and coordinating the implementation of sound staff management and development systems and procedures.
- Formulation and maintenance of an adequate recruitment, selection, training and development programmes for the organization.
- Administration of staff welfare and benefits schemes- NSSF, NHIF, Insurance, pension and Medical schemes.
- Represent the company on all industrial relation activities with the union including collective bargaining agreement negotiations.
- Maintain administration, registration and policy documents.
- Organize and manage all transport and communication services relating to IT, vehicles, Air freights, postal services, telephone etc.
- Management and control of subcontractors for the non-core business activities in the organization.
- Facilitating the implementation of performance management systems aimed at motivating the personnel.
- Maintain staff discipline by preparing guidelines and administering staff disciplinary procedures within the organization
- Developing and maintaining good public relations with the community, farmers, distributors, government agencies, nongovernmental organization and other stake holders in the industry.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, an MBA will be an added advantage.
- Post Graduate qualifications in Human Resource Management
- Good leadership qualities, innovative, self driven and result oriented person.
- Minimum five years working experience in a similar position.
- Membership to the Institute of Human Resource Management (K)
Import Officer:
The position holder will be responsible to the overall Oversees procurement and purchase orders controls for the company and will report to the Procurement Manager.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate implementation of import procurement procedures.
- Preparation, circulation and scheduling of overseas procurement factory requirements
- Negotiate and manage supply contracts.
- Ensure participation of users departments in the procurement process to ensure conformity to requirements specifications.
- Preparation of tender and pre-qualification documents
- Follow up with clearing agents and suppliers both local and abroad.
Qualifications and experience:
- Diploma in Business Administration with specialization in purchase management
- Knowledge of ERP systems will be an added advantage
- Minimum of three years working experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of procurement Act 2005, International Procurement regulations, and procedures relating to commodity procurement.
