USAID/Rwanda: Project Management Assistant.

POSITION: A.I.D Project Management Assistant, FSN-08 OPENING DATE: June 2, 2010
WORK HOURS: Full-time; 40 hours/week. SALARY: RwF 6,523,982 per annum starting salary, Position Grade: FSN-8

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The selected candidate will provide support in funds management and tracking, program activity monitoring and reporting, and all communications with the Ministry of Health, USAID/Washington, development partners and implementing partners. S/he will track health funded acquisition and assistance requests, audits, evaluations, and reports, and maintains an updated Procurement Plan for the health portfolio. S/he will assist the Supervisory Health Officer and the Deputy Team Leader assemble, finalize and format contractual and other documents, including the USAID Annual Report, Mission portfolio reviews, and Operational Plans for HIV/AIDS, Malaria, and overall health assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
NOTE: All applicants must address each selection criteria detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.
1.College degree is required.
2.Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in development projects required. Experience in monitoring USAID programs and activities and experience in dealing with high-level officials and donor organizations desired.
3.Level IV (Fluent) French and Kinyarwanda required. English proficiency, Level III also required.
4.Must have a good knowledge of host-country contacts (official and non-governmental).
5.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
