Our client, a poultry operation in East and Central Africa in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic individual to work as an Internal Auditor
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out of financial and operational audit for the company
- Checking the accuracy of accounting records
- Preparations of audit and special reports and compiling audit files on findings on any weaknesses on the internal control system and give suggestions on how to make improvements.
- Following up on the progress of implementation of the various suggestions as approved by the Management
- Carrying out audits and preparation of financial statements
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum B.Com in business related field
- Must have CPA (K)
- At least 3 years experience in auditing. Internal audit experience will be an added advantage
- 3 years minimum experience
- Good computer and record keeping skills
- Energetic with good interpersonal skills
- Results oriented with a proven track record
Other Competencies:
- Work well under pressure and understands and acknowledge views of others
- Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management & feedback
