Technology Today: Credit Controller & Sales Executive

To build on the existing finance team, Technology Today is looking for an aggressive debt collector with a proven track record to fill the position of a Credit Controller.

The person shall be responsible for:
  • Collecting debts from customers, as well as providing information on outstanding debts.
  • Develop an effective credit Policy to ensure timely repayment of debts.
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts periodically to ensure prompt payment hence increasing company’s cash flow.
  • Vetting new customers and monitoring their financial performance.
  • Preparing account receivables reports as requested by management such as debtors aged analysis and debtors overdue reports.
  • Ensuring adequate cash flow management to meet company obligations through aggressive debt management and collections
  • Meeting with customers to resolve outstanding issues and providing feedback thereof.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or a degree in a business related field.
  • CPA Part III with experience in a busy commercial environment

  • Should have at least 3 years experience.
  • Analytical thinking
  • Negotiation skills
  • Be innovative and creative
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines
  • Aged between 25-35
Sales Executive - Kenya

The Role:

Working as part of a skilled team, the Sales executive will work closely with customers and partners throughout Kenya, You will be a technical sales expert on the entire networking product portfolio with a range of responsibilities including:
  • Bid / tender proposals
  • Achieving monthly sales targets, developing new clientele while maintaining good customer relations with existing clients ,channel partners (distributors, system integrators, VARs, resellers)
  • Be responsible for generating proposals and quotations; presenting and articulating proposal to customer
  • Explain detailed technical aspects/ solutions to customers and partners
  • Develop and maintain close marketing and sales relationships
  • Help customers identify their issues, needs and requirements
  • Deliver technical presentations on networking products and participate in pre-sales activities such as exhibitions, workshops, training and product demonstrations.
Key Experience Required:

This Sales AM is a key strategic hire within the territory and it is essential that the candidate possess the following skills and experience.
  • Technical related degree , with a sales orientation
  • Minimum 4 years networking sales experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of IP networks and switching, IP telephony (VoIP), IP Security and firewalls, wireless and routing / networking technologies.
  • Knowledge of sales logics.
  • Exemplary communication / presentation skills.
  • Used to working in a target orientated sales environment.
