Job Purpose:
The Solution Marketing Manager will be responsible for providing the overall solution leadership for a theme to ensure business delivery in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the business performance of solutions in the market including all components (devices and services)
Provide pricing and positioning inputs as part of overall solution plans (through respective functions). Compile the overall consumer value proposition for the solution and deploy clearly to x-functional team and LSU.
Drive solution portfolio for theme on SU level through SU portfolio planning processes to meet local market requirements.
Provide pricing and positioning inputs as part of overall solution plans (through respective functions). Compile the overall consumer value proposition for the solution and deploy clearly to x-functional team and LSU.
Drive external focus and lead competitor analysis for the solution (devices and services) to identify market specific opportunities and drive solution fit to markets.
Drive solution development and deployment on SU level to match local market requirements.
Constantly engage with LSU marketing heads to provide guidance on solution roll out as well as to incorporate market understanding into solution work.
Support sell in activities with key customers and support PR activities within region.
Promote specific brand capabilities to develop a winning solution which addresses the client’s unique business needs.
Understand the client’s industry and how the client’s business fits within it.
Understand the organization’s brand/product capabilities in order to develop winning solutions that deliver client value propositions, are tailored to the client’s specific business needs, and are superior to the competition.
Ensure that the solution design and delivery team has considered the appropriate methods and models in the customer solution.
Interface with global theme teams to understand overall strategy and influence on MEA requirements; working in program mode cross functionally to deliver solutions; alignment with LSU GMs and Heads of Marketing to identify and drive relevant solution priorities.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a relevant field
8-10 years experience with exposure to managing a business process end to end including aspects of strategy formulation, business delivery and marketing execution.
Experience of team leadership.
Understanding of the East Africa market, understanding of the competitor technology
