Centre for Governance and Development: Finance & Administration Assistant

CGD is seeking to fill the above position at its secretariat based in Nairobi.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration or other related field
  • Hold a recognized professional certificate such as CPAK, ACCA.
  • Demonstrated experience with finance and administration functions of international organizations
  • Knowledge and technical experience in accounting (including computerized accounting systems), administration and operational practices
  • Knowledge of donor funding rules and regulations, financial reporting and disclosure requirements
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong financial management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, communication, partnering and supervisory skills
  • Ability to adapt to conflicting deadlines and priorities established by finance demands
  • Ability to provide technical support and training in finance and administration
