CGD is seeking to fill the above position at its secretariat based in Nairobi.
Education and Experience:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration or other related field
- Hold a recognized professional certificate such as CPAK, ACCA.
- Demonstrated experience with finance and administration functions of international organizations
- Knowledge and technical experience in accounting (including computerized accounting systems), administration and operational practices
- Knowledge of donor funding rules and regulations, financial reporting and disclosure requirements
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong financial management and organizational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, teamwork, communication, partnering and supervisory skills
- Ability to adapt to conflicting deadlines and priorities established by finance demands
- Ability to provide technical support and training in finance and administration
