Our client, a group of large manufacturing companies based in Nairobi and with branches countrywide wishes to identify suitable candidates to fill the following positions.
Inbound Logistics Manager
Ref: SGK/ILM/07/10
He/She will be responsible for:
- Procurement of raw and packaging materials and inbound transportation.
- Maintaining an updated database for both local and imported suppliers.
- Identifying and implementing key Performance indicators in procurement.
- Processing import and export documents to ensure efficient clearance.
- Validating and approving invoices from the relevant service providers.
- Planning & managing stock movement to minimize stock outs.
- Reconciling import goods stocks and dispatch out turn reports from ports of discharge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in procurement, Logistics or other business related areas.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Procurement and Logistics at management level.
- Must be Conversant with procurement procedures on imports, exports and shipping lines operations with ability to interpret market prices and trends.
Maintenance Engineer
Ref: SGK/ME/07/10
He or She will be responsible for:
- Developing efficient and effective preventive and condition based maintenance programs for all equipment and machines.
- Implementing budget controls and monitor the maintenance budget to ensure no over expenditure.
- Organizing, directing and motivating the maintenance team to optimize productivity.
- Providing effective support and project management to ensure company projects are completed within the scheduled times and cost.
- Providing sound technical and engineering maintenance advise for equipment, machines and facilities improvement.
- Facilitating competitive sourcing of cost value engineering spares & services to maximize company returns.
Qualifications:
- BSc or HND Mechanical Engineering.
- Hands on Experience on Modern PLC operated process equipment.
- Knowledge of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a busy manufacturing environment.
