SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Reporting to the Chief Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
· Ensuring timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions
· Periodic review of transactions posted in various ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness at all times
· Ensuring timely processing of claims and accounts payable
Liaison with service departments and service providers to ensure uninterrupted service to customers
· Preparation and maintenance of a variety of financial records and reports,including those related to the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgets and fixed assets, investments etc.
· Oversee timely and accurate bank reconciliation processes
· Preparation and review of monthly management accounts and schedules

REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Equivalent
· CPA (K) or Equivalent
· Over 5 years progressive qualification experience in an Insurance Company
· Strong analytical and people management skills
