ABC CAPITAL BANK LTD is a new Bank in Uganda formed out of partnership between Capital Finance Corporation (CFC) and African Banking Corporation (ABC Bank) Kenya. Job Title: Operations Officers
Key Responsibilities:
• Support business development through generation of sales leads
• Maintain operational excellence for the branch to support high standards of service delivery.
• Maintain prudent Cash Management in the branch to ensure that there is adequate but not excessive cash holding to ensure smooth delivery of service to customers; minimize risks of loss and identify opportunity for revenues.
• Minimize losses through diligent monitoring and management of areas that pose inherent operational risks.
• Maintain a healthy business environment through strict compliance with Money Laundering Prevention guidelines.
• Ensure that all entries are verified in the system at close of day and bring to the attention of Branch Managers any outstanding entries'
• Arrange for insurance cover for excess over limit
• Ensure all blank forms are reconciled on a daily basis including customer cheque books held, bank drafts, Fixed deposit receipts
• Supervise departmental staff and manage staffing levels at the counter and other back-office desks
• Reconcile all Branch operational accounts
• Track customer complaints and follow up with CSO to ensure their resolution within agreed time frames
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Economics/Accounts
• Computer literate
• Should possess at least 2 years experience in banking operations
• Should have good cash management ,interpersonal,communication,customer service, analytical, innovative and problem solving skills
• Should be well versed with banking processes and procedures
