Effective with the release of this announcement, Winrock International will be receiving applications for the positions listed below, to support the USAID funded Northern Uganda Development of Enhanced Local Governance, Infrastructure and Livelihoods Project [NUDE1L) with office location in Gulu, Uganda. The Term of employment is up to 3 years. Experience with a USAID Contractor or a large international NGO funded by USAID will he an added advantage.Winrock International is especially interested in receiving applications from female applicants.

Post:Engineering Officers (Reference#001)
The Engineering Officers shall report to the Local Government District Engineers as well as USAID/NUDEIL's Chief Engineer and shall primarily be responsible for detailed designs, costing and supervision of NUDEIL projects in the Districts of Gulu,Kitgum, Amuru and Oyam. They shall conduct detailed infrastructural assessments in accordance with the NUDEIL Operational Plan and any other assignments related to the project.
The successful candidates should have a minimum of Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution and be experienced in labor-based road Works, water supply Works and Vertical Structures. The candidates should have a valid drivers license/riding permit and should be ready to live in any of the aforementioned Districts
