Effective with the release of this announcement, Winrock International will be recruiting for the positions listed below to support the USAID funded Northern Uganda Development of Enhanced Local Governance, infrastructure and Livelihoods Project (NUDEIL) with office location in Gulu, Uganda. Term of employment is up to 3 years. Experience with a USAID Contractor or a large international NGO funded by USAID necessary. Winrock International is especially interested in receiving applications from female applicants.

Position: Communications Officer (Reference#005)
Qualifications for Communications Officer (Reference#005)
• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Social Sciences or similar qualification;
• Five years relevant experience in International NGO setting with at least 2 years in a leadership position. Proven experience in designing and implementing communication strategies for development impact;
• Excellent communications and organizational skills with demonstrated success working in a team environment and particular emphasis on Oral, writing and editing skills;
• Pleasant, flexible and efficient communicator by phone and e-mail,
• In MS packages I.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook.
• Computer literate with high proficiency in MS packages i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
