We are seeking to recruit qualified candidates to fill the following vacancies:
POSITION; DISPATCHERS
REPORTING TO: CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER
Key responsibilities:
• Execute and control the invoicing process for all customer orders.
• Allocate customer orders to delivery trucks in a manner so as to enhance and minimize transport costs
• Reconcile daily sales reports with direct supervisors of stock.
• Rationalize transporter earnings to ensure equitable share of the
• Liaise with customers regarding dispatches or delivery delays
• Implement the company HSE programs in the dispatching function.
• Prepare a summary of all unmet customer orders due to logistic problems at the end of the day clearly stating the reason.
• Prepare a loading list, clearly showing the customer name, product, volume loaded and departure time of the truck from the depot".
• Receive back a copy of the delivery note from the customer acknowledging receipt of the products through the truck drivers and capture all comments made by the customer in the distribution list.
Minimum qualifications and skills:
Degree in Business Commerce, Business Administration or any other business related course, Good public relations and interpersonal skills, Working knowledge of some computer application software e.g. MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power point At least one years experience in a related position.
