Kenya Web: web designer

We are looking for a self motivated, aggressive, self driven, forward thinking creative web designer with a desire and passion for web design to join our team of developers.

The person will be working on creative projects in line with our corporate objectives and apart from having a diverse set of design skills; you must have a strong knowledge and understanding of web design and development trends and principles.

You will need to be highly conversant with most of the below skills to collaborate with our developers and programmers.

Education level: Degree/Diploma in IT or Computer science or related.

Key skills required:

• Adobe Photoshop, PageMaker, fireworks ( or any other design tool)
• PHP programming
• MySql database
• CSS
• Ajax
• HTML
• CMS (joomla, drupal, wordExpress etc)
• JavaScript

Others:

• An intimate knowledge of jQuery and javascripts, ASP and other database platforms would also be considered highly beneficial.
• You must be an ardent team player with good communication skills.
  
• You must have a Minimum of 2 years experience in employment or free lance work.
