Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is on international non-profit, public health organization with headquarters in worldwide. MSH Uganda is currently running a number of USAID and other donor funded protects, both in Kampala and other parts of the country including the following:

STARE is a 5-year USAID supported District Based HIV/TB Project focusing on the prevention, care, and treatment of HIV/TB in health facilities and communities, headquartered in Mbale taut with activities in Budaka, Bududa,Bukwo, Busia, Butaleja, Kapchorwa, Pallisa and Sironko districts.

SURE Secure Uganda's Right to Essential Medicines primary focus is to ensure that the population of Uganda has access and health supplies (EMHS) by strengthening the national

MSH now invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following

DISTRICT CLINICAL MENTOR (STAR E PROJECT)
LOCATION OF POST: MBALE

Overall Responsibilities:
• District clinical mentor will be a clinician with experience in providing comprehensive HIV/TB services, including anti-retroviral therapy (ART), who will travel frequently to health centers in the District Based HIV/TB Program (DBHP) areas to introduce and improve the quality of these services.
• Ensure that all HIV/ TB services meet national guidelines and treatment protocols and that each health meets national accreditation standards
• Train and support new clinical mentors identified by quality of DBHP to improve access to and comprehensive HIV/TB services and hospital focal points to strengthen two way
• Assist service provider, case managers, data clerks and other health center staff to link both community and hospital focal points to strengthen two way referral both up and down the network.

Qualifications:
1) Clinical health care professional (Medical Doctor, Clinical Officer, Nurse) with training and at least 3 years experience in provision of comprehensive HIV/AIDS and TB services, including ART 2) Knowledge and experience in Provider Initiated Counseling and Testing, TB-HIV, Integrated desirable 4) Experience in training others in HIV/ TB services and providing supportive supervision 5) Experience in desirable 6 Fluent in written and spoken English essential

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT-REGIONAL OFFICE (SURE PROGRAMME)
LOCATION: MBALE

Overall Responsibilities
*Ensure that the financial and administrative transactions are accurately authorized, documented and recorded
* Facilitation of all Regional Staff advances, travel
* Preparation of Regional Financial and Administrative reports and ensures that systems are in accordance with MSH and USAID policies and procedures.
* Assist the Pharmaceutical Field Coordinator in preparing budgets, cash flow forecasts, and monthly financial reports for the Regional Office
* In collaboration with the Kampala Headquarter Finance and management of office inventory and supplies

Qualifications:
1) Degree in Accounting from a recognized University
2) experience, knowledge of USAID regulations preferred
3);applications particularly Word and Excel
4) A firm principles, ability to create and monitor budgets, and sense of importance and attention to details
5)Excellent interpretation skills ,ability to work independently and to multi task.

DRIVER: REGIONAL OFFICE (SURE PROGRAM)

A Minimum of an advanced level of education or its equivalent
2) Valid clean computerized driving license with at least 8 years' driving experience
3) Should have B, CM, and DL driving classes
4) Training in defensive driving
5) Knowledge of basic mechanics
6) Good communication and interpersonal skills.
