International Medical Corps:Monitoring & Evaluation Officer & Finance/Admin. Assistant

International Medical Corps (IMC) is a global humanitarian nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life through health care interventions and related activities that build local capacity in hard to reach areas.

International Medical Corps currently implements projects in various districts in Kenya.

IMC is seeking candidates to fill the following positions:-

Monitoring & Evaluation OfficerLaikipia

Position Description:

* Lead in undertaking Nutrition surveys and assessments
* Support field teams in compiling the progress and impact assessments reports.
* Review and prepare final reports in conjunction with the field teams and the technical advisers at the HQ and ensure timely submission of the report to the donor and other relevant stakeholders
* Represent the organization in M&E related fora or other meetings as my be required by the supervisor
* Pursue latest M&E developments and ensure that relevant skills and knowledge are transferred to the implementing field team.
* In Liaison with the field teams, hold regular review meetings to assess the progress against the set targets and advice the supervisor and the management with recommendations on the progress as per internal policies, donor regulations and the project timelines

Qualifications (Special training/experience required):

* Strong back ground in community nutrition with a minimum of 2 years of assessments
* Minimum academic qualification of a degree in Nutrition/health related field with specialization in M&E. Masters in similar field is an added advantage.
* Experienced in representing former/current organization at national and regional level
* Excellent team building/working skills, strong personal and interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership and supervisory excellence.
* Strong Analytical skills with prowess in SMART, ENA, EPI infor, SPSS, SQUEEK/SLEEK, LQAS, etc.
* Good field work skills with good understanding of organization’s project area.

Finance/Admin. Assistant - Laikipia

Position Description:

* Make cash and cheque payments and keep records of the same;
* Prepare monthly cash and bank reconciliations;
* Monthly data entry into ACCPAC and submission of the sane to Nairobi;
* Assist in HR admin. issues;
* Liaising with the Bank Manager on all matters related to the bank account;
* Other relevant duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting;
* CPA Part II;
* One Year experience in Accounting/Finance – NGO experience preferred.
