Waumini Sacco Society: Finance Manager

The above position within Waumini Sacco Society Limited has fallen vacant.

The finance job position entails:

* Ensuring proper books of account are maintained and timely statutory accounts are filed.
* Ensuring optimal cash management and investment of funds at competitive returns.
* Ensuring proper accounting procedures in all payment processes.
* Co-ordinating and ensuring audit activities are implemented as scheduled
* Reviewing work performance of departmental staff, facilitating their deployment, training and development in line with the SACCO policies and procedures.
* Safeguarding the Sacco’s assets and resources against loss, theft and inappropriate use by instituting and maintaining appropriate internal controls.
* Steering the re-designing of accounting system and managing its implementation
* Supervise FOSA (banking) operations
* Keeping abreast of regulatory changes taking place affecting Sacco operations.

Minimum Qualifications for kenyans applying for this job.

* Business degree (Finance or Accounting option) & CPA (K) plus 2 years relevant experience or CPA (K) with 10 years relevant experience.
* Good management and development skills
* High integrity
* Good analytical skills
* Good interpersonal skills with ability to motivate & energize people
* Team player and result oriented
* Proficiency in English and Kiswahili
* Experience in Sacco operations will be an added advantage
* Computer savvy
