Manager

Job profile:
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Manager will have the following responsibilities among others:
- Responsible for overall day to day administration of the organization s activities
- Offer leadership to build, manage and develop effective team
- Ensures development and implementation of Sacco Policies, rules and procedures in liaison with Board.
- Growth of business lines and the overall performance of the organization
- Prepare AGM and Board meetings and minutes
The candidate:
The candidate must possess the following qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a business related field from a recognized institution.
- CPA (K)/ACCA and Diploma in Co-operative management
- Post graduate qualification an added advantage
- 5 years proven managerial experience in a financial institution/ strong SACCO
- Strong computer skills in MS-Office
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- 35-40 years of age
Internal Auditor
Ref No. 02/IAD
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Internal Auditor will have the following duties:
- Carry out risk analysis and management within the Society’s
- Appraise Society’s compliance to laid down internal controls and procedures, statutory requirements and stakeholder regulations
- Assess adequacy of internal operational procedures and advise the management accordingly
- Prepare quarterly annual audit reports for management appraisal
The candidate:
The candidate must possess the following qualifications
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com Accounting/Finance option) from a recognized university
- CPA(K), ACCA and Member of ICPAK
- Those with CISA qualification will have added advantage
- Minimum 5 years audit experience in a busy computerized financial institution
- Computer proficiency in computer application, especially in accounting packages and systems
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework of the co-operative sector and international auditing standards
- 30-35 years of age.
Marketing/Customer Care Officer
Ref No. 03/MCCO
Job profile:
Reporting to the General Manager/CEO, the Marketing Officer will have the following duties:
- Plans, organizes and co-ordinates marketing activities for the Society
- Co-ordinates customer care function to ensure that members/customers are satisfactorily served
- Creates rapport between Society and the external stakeholders
The candidate:
The candidate must possess the following qualifications
- B.Com (marketing) with at least 5 years experience in the financial sector preferably a large Sacco
- Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
- Outgoing and result oriented with superior public relation skills
- 30-35 years of age
FOSA Teller
Ref No. 04/FTL
Job profile
Reporting to the Manager, the Teller will have the following duties:
- Processes savings withdrawals and deposits
- Responsible for cash handling in the FOSA
- Ensures safekeeping of all cash in his care
- Effectively and efficiently serve all customers
The candidate:
The candidate must possess the following qualifications
- Degree in a business related field
- Good knowledge of accounting – minimum CPA Part 2
- Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and minimum supervision
- Below 30 years of age
